AI transparency

Last updated: October 2026

1. Why this page exists

Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the AI Act), as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, requires anyone who publishes AI-generated content or puts AI features into service to disclose it clearly. This page gathers in one place the information required by article 50 for demonet.it, in addition to the contextual notices already shown next to individual images.

2. AI-generated images on this site

The photographs of premises and people shown on the homepage (rotating hero background) and on the "About us" page (meeting room, developers, lounge, UX session) are photorealistic images generated with artificial intelligence: they do not depict Demonet’s actual offices or staff. Every image carries a visible "AI-generated image" label, alt text that states this explicitly, and a technical IPTC metadata field (DigitalSourceType = trainedAlgorithmicMedia) embedded in the file. The full list, with provenance and review notes, is kept in the repository’s internal registry docs/ai/registro-contenuti-ia.md. The site’s written content (product pages, service pages, legal notices) is written and verified by people; where AI has been used as a writing aid, the content is still reviewed on the merits before publication.

3. AI features on this public website

demonet.it has no chatbot, conversational assistant, or other generative-AI feature aimed at visitors, and no AI is involved while you fill in a form. After submission, however, the request received through the forms (contact, quote, booking, early access, support) is classified automatically by the Demonet Tracking Hub, the internal system that receives it. What is classified: a priority level (commercial interest), a possible spam suspicion, possible duplication of requests already received, and the type of service requested. How: first with internal rules; only if these cannot identify the service and the request is not suspected spam, an excerpt of the text may be sent to the Demonet AI Platform, which may use an AI model from a provider with infrastructure in the European Union (OVH AI Endpoints). Before sending, the text is redacted: name, email and phone number are masked and the content is treated as untrusted; alongside the text only the form type, project type, budget band, timeframe and service you indicated are sent. Purpose: to help staff sort and answer requests sooner. The result is only a suggestion shown to operators, who can correct it; it is not an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you: the AI never rejects or deletes a request (suspicious ones are merely flagged “to verify”) and every reply is given by a person. For the personal data involved and retention periods see the Privacy & Cookie Policy.

4. The Demonet AI Platform and the internal console

Demonet develops and operates a shared AI layer (Demonet AI Platform) used by the products in its portfolio and by the internal admin console of the Demonet Tracking Hub, for operations such as automatically classifying incoming leads (a suggested interest tier, not a decision) and pre-filtering possible duplicates or spam. These suggestions are always flagged as such in the operator interface, are never published or applied automatically, and remain subject to human review. There is no emotion recognition, biometric categorisation or profiling of public-website visitors. The AI features of individual portfolio products are described in each product’s own documentation, not on this page.

5. AI literacy (AI Act article 4)

Demonet keeps an internal register of training and awareness initiatives on the use of generative AI in its own work (writing, code, images), for staff who use these tools day to day.
